27. Graphics Art for 2020
21.04. – 23.05.2021 | The Imperial Stables of Prague Castle
Praha
The Graphics of the Year exhibition presents the selection of the best contemporary graphic creation by a wide range of artists and students - graphic artists. Graphics of the Year has become a platform for the establishment of intergenerational artistic relationships over 27 years, offering a comprehensive view and opportunity to capitalise on the shift and trends in free graphic production. All classical techniques are represented – serigraphy, lithography, intaglio, prints from height, computer graphics as well as original author techniques not only on paper. The project has traditionally included an author's book.
Graphic creation has a long tradition and prestige in our country. The Hollar Foundation honors as its duty to create an environment in which this work is made available not only to the experts and artists themselves, but above all to a wide audience. In the exhibition you can view works by well-known authors, our and foreign students, represented by: Frantisek Skala, Jan Svankmajer, Patrik Habl, Petr Nikl, Andrea Tachezy, Jiri Suchy, Jan Hisek, Mikolas Axmann, Vojtech Kovarik, Jana Hubatkova, Svatopluk Klimes, Simon Brejcha, Milos Sejn, Dr. Martin Velisek, Michal Skapa, Jiri Cernicky, Saki Matsumoto, Matyas Chochola, Lenka Falusiova, Martin Salajka, Jaromir 99 and many others.
